The Hampton Smoker
What's up wtih what's going down? Does a tree falling on the ocean with no one around make a sound? Barbecue, BBQ, Bar-b-que. It's all in how you sell it.

My mouth is hanging open.
There's a puddle at my feet.
Damn you.
That looks great backyard, but why is your stack lid closed?
Don't you need to vent it or is there something in the picture I'm missing.
B.D.
Thanks, WhiteTrash-- that's the reaction we're looking for. Get out there and cook something!
Terry-- I had to go and look at the picture. The stack on the vertical is closed because there's nothing in there, the stack on the main section filled with meat looks closed, but the lid is actually closer to us-- it's an optical illusion. That stack is open.....Do you ever choke back on yours? I've found there are times when it is useful, actually.
I went back and looked again and I see it open. How many butts did you have on and how long did it take to cook them? And how did you finish them?
